FLY is a Spanish company using several interesting strategies to create a special niche in the American 1/32 scale slot-car market. Detail, detail, detail, down to Ferrari's distinctive gold wheel-rims. Customized chassis-design: FLY offers one strictly for Porsche and Ferrari cars, another for Viper, Panos, Marcos GT, and Corvette racers. Limited editions: Some FLY cars are available as limited collections, among them the 10th Anniversary Edition, which features winners at Daytona, Le Mans, and Nurburgring. The Playboy Collection is slightly more fanatasy-based, while still relying on the same solid engineering of FLY's other cars. Lancias, Porsches, and Alfas also come in kit-form for the detailed, devoted racer. Well-made in all aspects, FLY cars prompted one dealer to comment that they seem almost too nice to race--do it anyway!
